Ahu Avcı
Ahu Avcı was born in İzmir in 1982. After graduating from İzmir İnönü High School, she earned her bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the Faculty of Science at Ankara University.
She began her professional career as an Event Coordinator while still a university student, working on a variety of events and organizations. She later joined a private company affiliated with TÜRSAB, where she contributed to domestic and international promotional activities carried out under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. During this period, she gained extensive experience in the planning and management of international promotional events. She also played an active role for two years in the establishment, opening, and operational organization of the CerModern Arts Center.
Avcı joined the Turkish Education Association Higher Education Foundation (TED Higher Education Foundation) in 2011, undertaking a range of responsibilities that contributed to the Foundation’s institutional development. Since 2022, she has served as Event Office Manager, overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of academic, cultural, and institutional events across TED University.
As of July 1, 2026, she serves as the General Manager of the TED Higher Education Foundation.
Her professional expertise includes event strategy development, stakeholder management, arts and cultural programming, corporate event planning, and project management.
